There is ample parking adjacent to the cottage.
There is a sloping garden with a playground and large Trampoline. At the far end is a small stone building which is perfect for playing in wet weather. It also doubles up as a drying room or a spacious dog kennel!
Just outside the front door is an eight-seater picnic table and a barbeque.
There are a couple of fields in which football, rounders or golf swings can be practised. Beyond these is the thirty-acre wood with its pond. Children love to fish in this. The "forest" is an exciting place for the children and a great place to walk the dog or just enjoy the solitude.
